Global Warming... should the CO2 emissions causing it, be cut, even if jobs are sacrificed?
We all should know by now that our country is in a job crisis, should we be cutting those jobs even if it means cutting down dangerous CO2 emissions which affect Global Warming? Based on everything we know.. we can say that its mainly our fault. The people, the factories, government, all somehow contribute to the level of CO2 in our atmosphere. We are making weapons, making cars, using fossil fuels, and heck this is just the beginning of the list of things that we have exploited and created to make CO2 emissions so high as they are now.
I believe, that both threats, the job crisis and global warming, will eventually pass over, but for now I think that the job crisis is more important. The Earth its self is a great planet, it sustains life for us, even as we practically tear it up with dangerous gases and destroy land. Although it may not get better in our own lifetime, it will for sure heal its self. Thus the focus should be the jobs of our people. Cutting CO2 emissions would mean cutting off jobs that people are in need of.
